HELP Knife Identification Needed

I was wondering if anyone in one of the groups could help me out with the name of a knife that I saw in a movie when it first came out in 1991. The name of the movie was "Exposure" or later renamed "High Art" with Peter Coyote starring in it. Its set in Rio DE Jan-eras and it is about knife fighting underworld there. I googled it and in one of the descriptions there is a clip where he is buying a fighting knife. They show a couple of Randall's, a Fairbanks Morse but I can't hear the name of the first one, a beautiful subhilt fighter. The knife dealer has an accent and I just can't make it out what he is saying. Its a great looking knife and would like to research. Anyway I wanted to buy the DVD or a VHS of it (still do), but now I've become obsessed with finding out what that knife is. The knife seller say's "it's very rare". If you could help me out or anybody else in the community I'd be very great full.
