I'm A Daddy!!!!
hey Guys, some of you know that my wife was pregnant with our first child. well she came 6 weeks early and was born on December 10, 2010!!
My wife was struggling with preclamsia, and we took her to the hospital thursday because she was feeling faint, and seeing stars. we stayed the night and on friday evening, they began an emergancy C-section. my daughter, Jaidyn Joy, was born at 6:54pm. she was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital, but was able to breath on her own. she only needed an IV for the first day.
we were very fortunite that God was watching over us and our baby.
my wife and i stayed in the hospital for 4 days after delivery to recover, but Jaidyn was in the Intensive Care Unit for another week. so my wife and i spent our days at the hospital, and nights at home. it wasnt until December 23rd that we brought her home for the first time.
its been about 6 weeks now, and we are all doing fine! this friday, January 21st, was supposed to be her due date! lol so now we are just adjusting to being parents, and not getting a lot of sleep.
i appreciate all your emails, and prayers for us durring this time. i appreciate the support i have recieved from some of the members here on iKC, thanks!

here is a video that i made while we were in the hospital. because she was in the Intnsive Care Unit, only parents are allowed to be in there, so i wanted to make a video to show my family my new daughter.......

Very nice daughter you have! God bless! Its amazing how much hair she has got, my three month old son has very little.. Enjoy these wonderful moments with your wife and daughter, they have so much to offer the soul.
