Inherited Knives
My father passed away a few years ago; he was a real knife collector. I remember watching him clean and oil his knives. He would tell me about each one. However, I am less romantic and more practical. I like knives that have are functional in my trout fishing and backpacking hobbies.
Among the knives my dad left me were some case xx's and a few others. How is the best way to determine the value of these knives?
Case XX 6488 congress redbone handle (used, worn somewhat but still in good condition)

Case XX 06263 pearl handle
Boker 5974 tree brand
Kissing Crane 4-blade model

I might be able to help you with that. I have a official price guide to collectors knives. You need to elaborate a bit more on the pattern. Just on the 62009 pattern alone there are more then 30 different patterns. I am thinking that number is a Barlow. I need handle material and blade configuration to be able to give you a better idea.
