Permalink Reply by ken benson on January 23, 2012 at 23:45 The 110 is one of the best knife values around new or used. The only ones with any increased market price are the old ones in mint , unused with the wood handles that are believed more desirable. I think the leather sheathes are worth 9.00 or so .Hang onto that 110 and since it is not some museum piece use it like normal people (who are not collectors ). there have been times when the 110 was about my only knife and it did everything I needed done.

This old Buck came this way. But how hard could it be? i would screw it up, but i bet a dozen people here could help you through it.

You know Adam I don't know if its practical but maybe you could update the knife with new handles and go from there.
Permalink Reply by ken benson on January 24, 2012 at 0:04 Adam i don't mean to beat this to death , but with the new models of Buck vantage and others I predicted they might end the 110 model. It has been the flag ship forever and when someone says BuckKnife, that is what comes to mind. I never thought they would end E-Type Jags, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, and Plymouths. If the 110 is no longer made, everybody that ever had one and let it slip away will die if they don't get one again. Prices will skyrocket and none of mine will be for sale. Till the bottom falls out of course. lol

I had one rehandled by Ralph Pemberton of Bash Dani and a couple of old Schrades and now they're all beauties!
