I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. If I either start or reply to a discussion when browsing in Firefox I can only see a "stripped down" text editor. Here's a screen capture from Firefox:
You'll note there is no "menu bar" above the "Reply to Discussion" text editor. And now look at the following capture of the same real estate rendered by Internet Explorer 8.
Firefox tends to be my browser of choice. The only times I remember having to switch to IE were when I was visiting Microsoft websites. MS is not shy about telling you that they do not like the browser you've brought in their door -- LOL.
Does anyone know if there might be some setting in FF that's specifically bothering iKC forum client? I'm getting better at remembering that I have to switch to IE when headed into iKC, but it'd be simpler if I didn't have to.
Thanks! Jim

Not fooling here: I'm in Firefox (now ver. 4) and the test-edit "reply box" has a full compliment of formatting and option buttons above it.
I wonder if maybe the jump from FF 3 to FF 4 brought along a "fix" to the iKC reply/entry situation.

Permalink Reply by Jim Child on April 18, 2011 at 7:02 I've been adding photos to my "Rigging Knives" photo album in the last couple of days and must report that "edit album" screen/process does not work in Firefox 4.0 The underlying editing screen seems to load in its entirety but photos are not populated into the boxes. Thihs means I cannot see either what photos are already be in the album or photos that are available to be put into the album.
Either switching the tab rendering engine to Internet Explorer, or opening IE for real, solves the problem ...all the photos appear and album editing proceeds.
I'm still wondering whether these problems are something that iKC's underlying software can fix or might there be a setting in Firefox's or Windows' options that would smooth things out.
