Using a tablet instead of a computer

When I type on this forum on my tablet the cursor and type does strange things. If I start typing and don't hit Enter or put the cursor in the middle of what I have already typed it works fine. But sometimes I type a character and they appear and the cursor stays on the right side of it. The type is then typed backwards. ".siht ekiL" So what I do is type in another program then copy and paste it into the post area using the text box. Does this make sense to anyone? When on a PC everything works normal. I mention it now because I just got a new tablet and it does the same thing as my old one.

That is strange indeed, and the fact you hVe to copy and paste text? I agree with Manx, seems like a browser issue? As I believe browsers will some day rule the world. But that's another Group discussion.

For me to do what I do, I have 3 different browsers and predominantly use 2. Don't know if that makes any sense. But I can get it all done. None of the browsers in IE.

I am typing now in foxfire. I tried one in the browser that came with the tablet and it worked better. So I think you guys are right. I'll be playing with it some more to verify it.

OK that would be good to know. Basically the other Discussion I have is trying to pinpoint how folks connect to iKC. In the future as iKC moves forward with our service provider the version we go with May be more friendly with tablets and phones but not much different than now for regular computers and laptops.
Browser wars are huge and somewhat of a moving target. What might work just fine today, in a few months and n update later.... it no longer works the way it once did. So I would encourage you to try a few different ones and see which fits the current situation best! Be interested to hear what you find as you play around a little with it.
