Thank you my friend for checking. I will continue the search! But good to know when searching out your knives to look for the marking!

Sorry, Steve

The only A. G. Russell Knives not marked A. G. Russell were marked A. G. R. or Bertram (Hen & Rooster.)  There are NO unknown A. G. Russell Knives

The seller said it was an AG Russell but no marking says that and only what I showed. It is clearly marked Japan and perhaps is a 1980's or maybe even late 1970's knife. Just a guess on that.

So I bought this Vintage 2150/Japan Fixed blade knife. It is big about 10" and a sturdy 5.5 " blade.  It was described as an AG Russell, no date with a Brass piece on the back, the listing called it a pharaoh, but it looks like maybe a lion? Anyway don't know if we have any vintage AG Russell fans here or I just need an opinion of someone else older than me...which I realize may be hard to find.. Here is a oic:

Quite interesting to read that page from the catalog. I am in agreement with Goldie, but making them all was the right thing to do. Hopefully every style will be a sell out!
