This driving me nuts. Looking at the Trapper I see it has two blades one is clipped. Looking at the Copperhead  I see two blades both are pointed. I see many different shapes of handles. Some look like congress knives but only have two blades one at each end AND BOTH ARE POINTED OR ONE IS CLIPPED.blaaaaaaa  Slowly going mad lol!

The traditional trapper has a spay and clip blade  and a rounded or squared top bolster.  The traditional Copperhead has a clip and skinner blade (or Pen) and the top bolster is slightly triangular with a bump on the blade side. (the bolster is said to resemble the head of copperhead snake.

See Below:

Thanks for the reply. I can see what you mean, this is true if you even have the blades at each end as well. I did find this  http://www.the-knife-connection.com/knife-blade-types.html it kind of lets me learn the blades as well.

Wow Ron,

GREAT reference material, thanks for sharing

Thanks Jan, you should see my desk. Its loaded with paper. Feel like I am studying for a test lol. My Daughter says I have an unhealthy obsession lol.

Its a healthy obsession, really, I swear!  At least thats what Donnie and I tell each eother.  My desk is always cluttered,  I am too old to remember where I put things if I move them from the desk LOL
