Is there any thing that you think CRKT needs to improve on

I think that they need to improve on blade steels-you pay $80 for a CRKT and it comes with 420!!
also the clip its aways tip down righty(im a lefty)really how much does it cost to drill a couple of holes in the handle to move the clip

I think CRKt need to stop thinking about looks and start thinking about how the knife will preform

also my clip keeps falling off longer screws please!
Drilling out the liners, more color options.
i agree that you might be paying more for the "cool" look and innovative styling more than a REALLY good blade steel...maybe this is their goal?

It think their steel is decent...sometimes it's just nice to have a cool knife! lol
Years ago, I actually bought one of the earlier CRKT knives...it was a Doolittle. Not very well made and came with a variety of issues, though the design was interesting. Over the years, I've watched them do a better and better job with the overall quality of their knives. I probably have in the neighborhood of 36 CRKT knives. My only real complaint is the choice of blade steels. The designs are cool, without question. It would be nice though, to be able to get some of the knives with 154CM, S30V and VG10 steels.
I like CRKT's cool factor enough to keep buying them but I do notice that some of their blades aren't quite as scary sharp as some others.

I have a Gallgher Glide Lock thinking the thin, no clip profile with the thin stilletto-looking blade would be a great letter opener on my desk. I end up ripping more letters open than cutting them. I tried touching up the blade but either due to my poor skills at sharpening or something inherent in the blade I haven't seen much improvement.

The Kommer Fulcrum is another story...it is scary sharp...as is an old Point Guard model. I suppose there is still some balance to be achieved between cool and expensive and cool and "more affordable". I"m still a fan though, how can you not be?
my only complaint is also pocket clips coming loose
my first CRKT was a Crawford Falcon which a friend sold to me
because the POCKET CLIP fell off
luckily i managed to fix it - the knife itself performed so well
i just kept on buying & don't thik i'll stop
