Fire Safe?

So, has anyone heard good news or bad news about CRKT's new lock, the Fire Safe?

It's were you push down on the button that is located on the thumb stud to release the lock for it to be deployed (assisted openers only I guess?)

My friend at our knife shop said it was a pain...

Any feedback from you guys? I haven't held a knife with that feature yet, but I want to get a knife (maybe the Lift-Off) but it has this feature....there is no place that sells it here, so I would be blind buying it.

i don't own one but i have handled one at our local knife shop
& i found it a bit of alright
i'll buy one as soon as finances allow
{the one i handled was a Lift-Off}

I think I got to experience that new lock you speak of.It would take me a lot of getting used to.It's not for me,but the dealer I sell blades for has them in stock.It is something I feel is worth going to your local knife/gun store or a knife/gun show before you get one.What good is a pocket knife if you don't like how it works-right?
