It may not be as high class in it's ways of work, but it's a beauty of a pattern and you guys did a wonderful job of bringing it back up.

Permalink Reply by Jan Carter on May 16, 2012 at 20:08 Just because you all know I am an information junkie...I just had to know why the blade was configured with that center choil. So here it is, the long blade was used to remove a peice of cotton from the inner bale
and
the long, straight choil of the blade was often used to roll the fibers of cotton against something like a wooden post or something similar to check for quality.
