I thought we should have a place to share deals we find. Like my $15 A.G. Russell Deer hunter. Also let others know about sales on knives and gear or ask for help finding a knife we want.

Who might offer the best "deal" on a knife? This may be the best place to find it!

Comment by Patrik Ilijev on May 25, 2012 at 13:16 Thanks Steve do they ship outside US?
Just in time for the Memorial Day Weekend, our old friends under the blue roof, Smoky Mountain Knife Works has a small discount, but a 15% discount none the less on USA Made knives and merchandise. You get a free flag pin too but looks like that $7.99 shipping will be with us a for a while. so if you buy something USA made the discount may cover shipping.
Tomorrow the Colt Knives Chat and learn the history of the Colt Knives Line...special dedication to knifemaker Barry Wood. Tomorrow at 8 central

Comment by Lee Saunders on March 7, 2012 at 22:40 I can't wait for the knives Leopold!! I'm stoked.
Today for one day only, not a huge sale, but hey we take what we can get! Our friends at Smoky Mountain Knife Works has a 10% off deal On Kershaw products. You can order right off the website with code KS10!
@Robert, glad you got that Case John Deere. I thought that under $40.00 price was pretty good...especially if you are stockman fan! ;)
Comment by Lee Saunders on March 4, 2012 at 23:34 Well there are some switchblades that I would love to add to my collection. A few have been offered on eBay. Like 7 years ago! I missed them. A couple are in the Collector's Guide to Switchblade Knives. All are antiques as that is primarily what catch my eye.
If anyone has one of these (or something similar) or knows where I might look for one of them please let me know.
1) Press-Button Knife Co. "One Armed Man's Knife" AKA Civil War Veteran's Knife
2) Press-Button 2 blades, Sterling. The back reads "St SAugusstine Fl" and has an engraving of an Indian and a palm tree.
3) Schrade Office Knife. Model #0740W
4) Schrade Model 151 with candystripe celluloid handles
Of course Schrade made the Press-Button knives so I would become a master Schrade collector by default!!
Thanks for reading.
P.S. I recently bought a .54 Cal bullet dug up in a Union campground. It i so frigging heavy! I can see why people lost armss and legs--and lives--in that war. That rifle bullet iss a monster.
