Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Some of us have more opportunities to use our EDC than others, BUT we all are presented opportunities, just maybe not every day. What was the last thing you used your knife for?

the last thing i used my knife for was to put holes in my friends beer cans, so they could shotgun them
I know there are those among us here who don't think I ever use a knife- because I am known for only buying "collectible" knives.....not true...not true :)

While it is true I don't actually carry one of my knives every day- there are real reasons for this, there are days I carry, particularly on the weekends when I can.

This past weekend I had TWO opportunities to use TWO different knives I bought to carry and use.

1) I was bushhogging and the grass got wrapped around the PTO . The problem with this is it slings grass and weeds up and covers me totally. So, I jumped off and used my Mantis Jyro to cut the tangled mess off the shaft. The curvature of the blade worked great and then I snapped it back on its holster and off I went.

2. I was helping my wife get the pressure washer running :) I mentioned I had another piece that would make wider swatches for her...to make it easier. So, I got to use my GE stag toenail I had in my pocket to cut open the plastic container. Aren't I nice :).....actually before you think I'm a slave driver, she likes to pressure wash (so do my kids).
LOL!!
Three guesses, and the first two don't count...
Heh, heh, heh...
my toothpick to clean my finger nails, trapperlock does the main work...
Used my RAT-3 to open some boxes at work yesterday. Not very heavy use.

I batoned through some 2 inch round pieces of wood with my RAT-1 the weekend before last. Actually it held up pretty well for a folder.
nice!!!
I fliped off my edc knife... but isint that what butterfly knives are for???lol
Used my leatherman kick when i sighted in a rifle :D
me too!
For fun? I've been messing with my new Endura4 a lot, getting used to weight, feel, opening, closing, etc.
Just used my Spyderco Native to gently scrape some road tar off of my M/C chin spoiler.
