That is really amazing, especially because they were made by another species of human. It makes you realize that, maybe more than any other man-made tool, the knife has been responsible for mankind's survival for so many thousands of years, and it is still a primary tool of survival today.

Comment by Relly Carpio on January 30, 2010 at 9:08am: hi! hello from the Philippines! and yes, incidentally i have a few "ethnic" knives. i say so because a lot of the ethnic knives of the Philippines are now manufactured with blades made in china instead of being forged. though there are some still, and very hard to find.
