In the past I did a LOT of file work - Knives - Guns.
Now days I only file the INSIDE of the spring on my pocket knives.
Just joined this group - and thought I would share some photo's.
Hope you enjoy looking at them?
Thanks for showing your work.
Take care,

Todd Davison

WELCOME to the group...and BEAUTIFUL file work on the knives
and guns!!!
Mr,
Davison,
Beautiful work on all items shown.I could sure ask you some questions on doing guns ,as I have only done two,so far.I have seen your knives on British Blade Forum and have long admired it.You are a true craftsman and my hat is off to you. Loved the pics of your work.
Mr. Davison. Man them are some AWESOME examples of what can be done! Your the MAN!
WOW,
That's some nice work.
Wouldn't the filework around the barrels technically be called fluting?
It's brilliant no matter what you call it.
Do the gun barrels need to be annealled to be filed then re- hardened?
Can you tell that I'm fascinated?
The guns are stainless steel --
And you could call it fluted?
But I did it all by hand with a file.

I took the rifle to a few shows and people are blown away when they see it in person.

I appreciate the compliments - take care,

Todd
