Very cool, idea! But what if you used the whole kabar so it's still usable?

i emailed tomars kabars to see if they had any scratch and dent kabars but they didnt have any BUT he gave a number and an extenion of the kabar company... so il give them a call tomorrow sence il workin till 8 to day...

i like the rehandle kit idea im not sure how good it will come out with me doin the work, but il give it a try if i strike out with kabar...

I finally broke down and cut the blade off my beloved kabar (not fun, very sad really) its all welded now and works AWESOME... il post pix tonight im at work right now XP

Yep and it shifts good too... the 1st time i welded it it broke puting it into reverse, i later knoched it out and cranked the welder to max voltage and now it seems to hold well even when im rough...

Sgt. Grit (www.grunt.com) has a kabar knife handle shifter for sale. Kinda late but just FYI for others.
