Welcome!

I started this club because I find that no matter how great a knife functions, a good multi-tool is always a practical back up to have. Some of you may have multi-tools and not even realize it. How many of you have a Swiss-Tech Utili-Key on your keychain? How about a Leatherman Micra or Squirt? Swiss Alox? I find that I have several multi-tools strategically placed in my home, car, EDC pack, keychain, and teaching bag so that in virtually any situation I have access to one if needed.

But what is a multi-tool? Let’s define a multi-tool as any hand held, portable device that has multiple tools and/or functions. Some examples of companies that offer multi-tools would be Leatherman, Swiss Victorinox, SOG, Gerber, Atwood Knife & Tool, Swiss-Tech, and Buck. I will do reviews and add pics of my multi-tools as we go along. If you are interested in multi-tools then click the Join button and let’s start sharing!

We can't really suggest anything before we know what you want:
price range, carry method (pocket, belt sheath, bag, car etc), and maybe what do you see as very important to have (a good knife, good pliers, multiple screw drivers etc.). These can help us point you in the right direction, some MT's shine in other things and some in other things.

I am the owner of a Leatherman Super Tool and it is a very good one. I carry it almost daily and it is a great tool, the serrated blade is outstanding for cutting thick rope!!!

So I have to send in my S2 Juice for a warranty repair, one of the backspacers popped out while I was cleaning it and it allows a driver to fully rotate. Praise God for the 25 year warranty!!!!

Just an FYI, I don't condemn the Juice line as a failure because of this break. One reason is they have a warranty, so it's not like I'm paying to have it fixed. Second I believe in giving companies chances to fix problems before condemning their products. I would expect the same from my customers if I had a product I was selling. Third, I could have just got a dudd!

the artifact has a standard place in my edc. i swap my main edc blade from time to time, but i always have my artifact as a backup/bottle opener.

Jake, Nice user name! :P The blade on the artifact is removable for replacement and could be removed for school carry. -Jake
