I had started a thread SeaGee all SS Riiger -- Who, or What, is "SeaGee" over on BladeForums. The only lead developed so far is a dead link and inactive email address for a yacht service company in NE Australia with the name "Seagee" (NOTE that the "g" in their name is not capitaized).
This is rather low quality Japanese all SS folding rigger. The only thing that distinguishes is that someone felt it was necessary to stamp the word "SeaGee" on both sides -- I think that fact is remarkable -- I'm not a very experienced collector, but I have not seen many knives where both handles are embellished indenically.
So, Old Salts, do any of you remember where this knife might have come from?

I have not received the newest SeaGee yet but it looks to be constructed on the same frame/pattter. What makes this second knife interesing is that its pins and pivots are spun and stand proud of the handles.
One of the guys on BladeForums who lives in Australia actually called Clive Gelman, proprietor of Seagee Marine Services in Queensland. Mr. Gelman was unaware of the existence of the Seagee knife.
