love the novelty lighters too but i prefer the type with musitians and famous people on them marlyn monroe is my fav and i love my irish flag lighter

I'm only over a year late responding to this discussion, but couldn't resist "sounding off." I make, collect and restore model ships and sailboats. I also collect prints of ships and sailboats, nautical collectables, and nautical knives, which I started an iKC group for. Here are some pics of my boats:

We've established most of us have several collections going on and oftentimes collections within collections.

 

I basically have three areas of collections: Knife related, obviously, and yet, the collection within the collection here is the catalogs, old advertisements, boxes, postcards, etc. I love the old knife paper stuff.

 

Then there is my Apple Computer collection- I'll save you the details :) but I love the old vintage computers, esp. the old portables. Here's my fav. from 1989- It is the Macintosh Portable. Apple's first true portable.

Rare Kodak Burgundy Vest Pocket Folding Camera, circa mid 1920's. This camera had never been opened  when I found it in the original case. Original cost - $3.75. It's a folding camera and sadly, the folds of the bellows had "welded" together as it aged untouched. I finally managed to get it open but shed a tear because the bellows came apart in pieces. Sigh. What I really want is (an even rarer) "Rainbow" Vest Pocket. Until I saw one in person, I didn't realize that KODAK designers were dropping acid back in 1920.

Mamiya M645 medium format. Uses 120 or 220 film. Still a nice camera for studio work and desirable as long as you don't over pay.

i also collect watches i started with elgin and then i went with invicta i can't afford the rolex so i try to keep the price in the middle for right now. here is a couple.
