Whats the most difficult task you have put your Spyderco Endura4 or any other Spyderco knife up against and how did it perform?

i'll post just to post...
i have an endura4, but i never got around to edcing it. i have no idea why... but the most heavy work i've put my spyderos through was just cutting through numerous pieces of cardboard. other than that, i cut steak and prep veggies for food. i guess cutting vegetables is more hardcore than cardboard.
Same here! I really have not put my endura4 to the test so I was just curious as to how durable the endura4 is? The hardest I have used my endura4 was just for food prep.
Tryed splitting wood with my Delica. Worked well i would hold the blade on top of a log and then hit the back of the blade with another smaller log.

Don't try thos at home(or with a spyderco you love it might kill it)
C'mon man, thats a pretty rude comment.

He uses the knives at home for food prep.

Im sure that at work they are used just as any of the rest of our knives are used at work.
My knives have been used for so many things that Im sure the manufacture never fathomed.

The one thing that really stands out to me is I have used my military and paramilitary to cut straight through copper wire.

Copper didnt really hurt them, but on the Military I did notice a flat spot on the blade that came right out with the sharpmaker.

I havent had any sharpening issues with Spyderco's S30V.

I have an Endura 4 that I beat the hell out of. Again, nothing really stands out as far as what Ive used it for, but I can tell you that I have had one hell of a time trying to re-sharpen the VG-10 blade. I just cant get the knife back to where it once was.
there isnt much i havent done with my spydies just the other day i cut through some 00gauge wire
My Endura 4 is in my pocket now, never really put it to the test but I would not hesitate to. I trust it would not let me down.
People aren't kidding when they say that the Persistence/Tenacious are some of the best bang-for-your-buck.

When I worked at retail a while back, I used my Persistence to cut dozens and dozens of boxes. Yeah, the edge grew dull faster than a VG-10 or S30V edge would but man, did it truck through. It also sharpened up very nicely, even with some clear dull spots on the edge. There was also no signs of weakening of the lock, despite some rough use, and my hand never slipped when holding it. If anyone wants a beater knife, I highly recommend the Persistence.
