What is this knife?
I have a friend who was helping his dad deliver some phonebooks, and while they were out, he picked up this knife that was laying on the side of the street... i know its a spyderco, but i dont know what model, or what its worth.. i told him i would pay him $15 for it, and he agreed to the deal..

A decent catch you got there, an oldie.
As far as pictures and approximate measurements go its the C04 Executive model, produced 1983-1993. The blade steel used is GIN-1, comparable to AUS-8 but a bit softer, at the time it was a great steel. But because your model doesn't show blade steel markings it means it's a pre-1992 model, around 92 they added a G-2 stamp (G-2 = Gin-1). The handles look beveled (rounded) so it was probably produced somewhere between 1990-1992.
