Mt Favorite Knife!!!

Just wanted to show and tell everyone about my favorite knife...this knife has a great story to be told about how it went from an old blade laying around in my garage to an excellent carrying and using knife.
First off i cleaned it up and found out that it was an old remington rh pal blade from the 20's...i could tell by looking at the tang stamp because I have read many books about old remington and cases tang stamps and how to know what they are. I was really excited when i found this out and it just so happened that i found it the week before i went to a knife show where i met bruce godlesky. So i got to talking to him and my dad mentioned about that old blade and asked if he could put some handles on it and make a sheath. fast forward to last weekend where i went to a knife show and met bruce again to pick up my newly re-handled and refurbished remington!! It's has such a history and i couldn't tell you how many deer got gutted while in my uncle's possession- add commetns and tell me if you know about it!!

Definately looks better than the one that I have, but mine made through WWII, with my dad.

It's a little worse for wear but if I had to, (absolutely HAD to) I'd pull it out and go at whatever came at me.
Bruce certainley did a fine job on your knife.
You've got the best of three worlds now;

thanks JJ, your knife is original though which makes it worth more and such...i can really tell that it also has a story all its own that could be told...that's a great knife!!
