Hallo UK collectors! Excuse me for my short visit in your group. I am not living in UK.

I search a UK and others Europe countries knife stores, where I can order knives! I was searching in google, but I don’t found anything interesting. Can you recommend me a good EU knife stores?

I hope you can help me!

Respectfully,

Ivars

Tim. Hes making one of the croc knives for me at the moment. :D cant wait to get it. ive seen his one on his site, i thought it was wicked. The one hes making for me is just slightly different. the day i lay hands on it i'll put up a pic. Ive just seen your one with the engraving on it and the antler handle. its a cracker;. i bet your well pleased with that aint ya. :) .... i havnt found a pic of his machete yet. cant find on his site, unless i've missed it. if you have a link to where one is can you let me know please Tim. he does a blade like the one in your avatar pic as well. i thought that looks nice. theres one on his site that i think a customer has rehandled or something, and polished it up to a mirror type finish.

His knives are absolutely outstanding - as far as working knives go. My favourite user is one he made for me. It's got a stag antler handle and my first name engraved on it. IT you look on his special commissions you'll see it on his site. I got him to make it for me about five years ago. I've taken it everywhere with me and and it as as good as the day I bought and still sharp enough to shave the hairs on my arms. Bernie does put noses out of joint by not taking any BS but I think he is a nice guy and as honest as the day is long. I would recommend his knives to anyone who wants a bushcraft style knife that will last forever. I've tried to make knives as good as him but so far I've only got to about 85% of what he does. His knives are about as good as they get. He's made a nice bolo style chopper called a Mambo which looks great. This is his take on the Croc Dundee knife. http://www.ukblades.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=29

Bernie Garland is making a knife for me at the moment. Ive checked his work out, I think hes really good. es got a lot of professional equipment, and hes made loads of knives. just do an internet search his names all over the net. He seems straight talking, and genuine. i posted him 100 pounds cash to the wrong address, and i realised that i'd sent it to he wrong address, rang him and he said dont worry he had recieved it, the postman knows him. he didnt have to do that. His straight talking has made him a few enemies on some sites, but ive read through a few of the posts that got him banned, and quite truthfully he was just speaking his mind, and within his rites, and his banning seems to be where mods have pulled rank coz they coudnt beat him hands down in his argument. quite entertaining threads actually. As for his knives, I'll post a pic up of my one when i get it.
I dont Know him personally, but his knives are made all in 01 tool steel, and the handles are really nice. ive never heard anything bad said about his knives. Theres a folder on his website. really looks wicked. go on the website and check it out. check out the handles. check out the page commision work. I do love the folder he does. I woudnt mind getting one of them made next.

I checked Bernie Garland's site. He has some nice patterns and it appears that his workmanship has quality.

Now, in the IKC, you have a forum where you can discuss your preferences in knives and makers without censure.

I agree too. Let's get on with our passion, eh.
