This knife is a Cas Hanwei, made in  Dalian, China and sold by Rock Creek . It is 10 1/2 OA with a 6" blade 1/4" thick, full tang, made from their propriatary SS, with stacked leather handle . It has  a beautifully tanned leather sheath with ss guards at three points for protection,
 will last a life time. This is a beautifully made knife and is a pleasure to look at and hold. Has a very nice feel for a smaller hand. It is a China knife but unlike any you have held before. Fit and finish is almost perfect and it is one of the knives I would put in my bugout bag. About Hanwei ,they have been making Hi-end  Katanas and other swords for the chinese for many years and several years ago brought out a line of hunting and camp knives. They make their own steel and it is used in these knives and many of their swords.This is a very serious knife that you can trust.
