If you're looking for some other cool low price - high quality knives...check out Enlan knives and Sanrenmu knives.

There's a british forum where the Ganzo (As well as Enlan and Sanrenmu) knives are very populair.

I myself have held an Sanrenmu and I currently own an Enlan knife and I've heard similar things about Ganzo.

Basically they make knives of a good build quality. They don't use the highest grade steel but it's a decent user steel.

In a value for money type setting the only company that can probably match them is Rough Rider. If they ever start using premium bladesteel.....then the US manufacturers will be in trouble.

You can already get versions with rosewood, G-10 and micarta. The only thing that's stopping them from winning over the hearts of knifecollectors is bladesteel.

Alexander .. I've little knowledge as to their reputation. Do you ?? PM me if you'd rather not express publicly. Thanks, Dale.

All in all .. I'm impressed for the price.

Thanks, Alexander !!!

I'm not impressed with certain aspects of the design. Looks good from the outside though.

Seeing as it's from Ganzo it's probably 8Cr13Mov steel. Which is similar to 440B.

In all fairness .. this is NOT a knock-off.

It just resembles a Godfather.

Nowhere .. lists / states /  etched or stamped  ..  a manufacturer or model other than it's own .. GANZO.

The blade steel has enough Fe (iron) in it to cling to a magnet .. probably not 440C stainless steel.

Lock in & out is quite solid & secure. No blade peek .. not even close !!

One of the "sharpest - out of the box" production knives I've received.

I love the description "automatic switchblade camping knife".  When I do some serious camping .. I take a small hatchet, a .22, & a pocket knife .. not a stiletto.
.... and the "440C".      OK, why's my magnet stick to it ????

.... they did list an accurate price & shipping date.
