I rarely buy Chinese-made knives anymore. Why? It's not from some dislike of the Chinese (I don't have any such feeling towards them). Rather, it's that I'd rather support (as directly as possible) American Jobs (within the manufacturing sector, in particular). Still...every once in a while, something Chinese-made will pique my curiosity. Such was the case when I saw that Spyderco was releasing a Blue G-10 handled version of the Tenacious. Being that I like blue quite a bit...and that the price was "right", I decided to go ahead and buy the knife shown in the photo. It's an appealing piece. And...not all that surprisingly, the build quality on this knife is quite good.

Comment by Billy Oneale on May 28, 2012 at 22:22 I have one in the black. Now I am going to have to look for that Blue one. Blue happens to be my favorite color. Another nice one, Chris.
Its an attractive knife...quite unusual in blue. All things considered regardless of where it is from it is nice. I guess long term you will get some experience in with it and you will see if the quality endures!
