Last saturday was the annual DKE in Tiel the Netherlands. This was my fourth time going to it and I always really enjoy it. This year was a little different though because of two reasons:
1) The show was a lot bigger with close to a 100 standholders.
2) It was my first time being there as a standholder.
I had been preparing for this show thouroughly for the past few months and had a (very) full table to show.

So tomorrow I'm taking the first of the knives that I made to the local sporting good store to see if they can sell it.

I made this from all leftovers (apart from the sheath), and it made me wonder. Does anyone else recycle/re-use/fiddle around with leftovers like I tend to do?

Jeremi Lett said… Cool.1 is ok,2 can be a challenge for a regular knife for sure.Try angular cuts,then strait cuts(horizontal) and you can tell what cut is tuffer.I am happy u have tried the cuts and hope u r as well.I have not had any formal training.
