Carl,

I just have to comment that you certainly have a fantastic collection of fixed blades! Especially those older Puma's! I thoroughly enjoy admiring your collection!

Cheers,

Ron

Ok, lol! I don't want to bore the chihuahua! iKC and ning does support IE8  So that should not be the issue. Are you logging in and just seeing part of the pictures load and then it stops? The only other thing might be to see if IE 8 has any updates.

Up at the top of your screen does IE8 offer a picture of a paper in two? If you click that it launches compatibility and some members have had some luck using that. Don't give up the ship(like that Italian captain) we will get to the bottom of this. lol!

Good morning Carl! No I don't think I am.lol! I do see some of the photos you loaded. Not sure which ones you don't see?

Let's try this way, the ones you posted most recently are actual pictures the older ones you posted are links to photobucket. If you click on the link you see the pic. The way you did it more recently is better, you can see the picture right away without clicking on the file. Make any more sense?

Carl, I must say you have a great sense of humor! I like that! Go to page 1 on that Puma Pictures discussion. Go down to the bottom of the page you are on which is 2 and go to page 1 tons of pictures!

Well good Carl, glad you did get something. When you upload a photo to any group you would go to the same box you would type a question or an answer. At the top of the box you'll see a whole bunch of things starting with the word link(which is underlined) the box next to it is image and if you hover over the box with your mouse it will say image. Click that and it will open a box that asks you where on your computer do you keep pictures. Just select the picture you want and double click or open and your picture will start to load. You can add comments once its loaded either above the picture or below.

If you still have questions let me know, but I bet you can do it! Steve

Carl, check this Blog post by Jan Carter. They are auctioning off the prototype for the GEC Sunfish you wanted. Here is the link to see what it is:

I am sure Jan can help you with any questions.

Hi Carl. I'm sorry to tell you that the orders for the GEC #36 Buffalo Horn Sunfish are closed and the knives have been delivered. I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to get one as I see that you have a wonderful collection of Sunfish and Toenails. GEC just released a brand new knife called the "Whaler" which is a copy of the C. Platts Jumbo Swell Center Elephant Toenail. I would suggest that you call GEC, or a GEC distributor, right away and order one befor the limited production sells out.
