They export glass version too. The difference is in the bonding agent. In the end, US ones turn out a bit more focused towards carbon steel and Jap better with alloys (plus it feels a tad harder, not sure though)."

Mostly if you buy from people with many positive feedbacks you will be OK. The Rana blade was the worst but unfortunately not the cheapest thing I ever got from the bay."
