I enjoy the history of the cutlery industry. As a result, I've a few stampings ya just don't see everyday.

Finding/researching the varied stampings has been an enjoyable journey into the history of the cutlery industry. Along the way, I've been exposed to a wide variety of design approaches.

From that came an interest in the different approaches to locking a folder in place.

From there ... the design approaches for an automatic. Then ... assisted.

It's been a wild ride !!!

That is the thing...I don't see why knife companies don't release, pubicly, the production #'s data?..For example, how many Buck 110's were made in 1985?? Or how many Schrade 34OT's were made in 1969?.......................

Yeah....I have dreams about GRAPHS!!...How messed up is that??!! :)

I guess a lot depends on how many of the Knife A (old Case XX knife) were produced. If they made 2 million a year...Then Knife B would appreciate faster.

Why are Imperials so "cheap" on EBAY now?
Is it because they sold A LOT (supply)?
Or because they are "cheap" (materials, quality control, etc.)(demand)?

These are the things economists think about
It's scary
And it's a curse on my mind!!...:)
