That was a Spyderco in the moose picture. That's a Stretch. I like the Wegner and Impala better but the Stretch is a good one too.

I'm with you about putting meat on the table. The other side of the coin, that the tree huggers don't know, it that we HAVE to manage the herds. Look at what's happening with the mountain lion population in California.

Well I would run a plate of Chicken Marsala with steamed vegetables and red roasted potatoes over, but I looked up the directions in mapquest and the meal would likely be cold by the time I got there.

Thanks for the comment. As for moose stew..we have so much darn moose this year I dream of beef, pork, chicken or almost anything else.

You know, most of the people here in the states would not be able to pull the trigger on poor little "Bambi" and if they had to field dress an animal would probable vomit. I've killed an animal or two in my youth, mostly whitetails, but only for the table.
