I guess you could say I have two "types" that I have started collecting. The first is vintage Kutmaster knives. The second is a much broader genre....Older advertising knives. In advertising, I prefer agriculture (feed & seed). But if…

I believe that's tied to what makes the particular collector tick .. I like novel locking systems .. I like good steel .. I also like stampings w/ historical significance ... .... So my collection is not centered around any one particular…

Right about that Don, got the Judgement & Last chance, both better than any Busse. Always likes Busse with INFI steel but CPM-v3 has quite a reputation. I've beaten my Final Judgement on cleaning up trees I felled, a quick stroping with…

Blood Moon Knife History:

Posted on April 7, 2010 at 7:11am 0 Comments

As of 3/31/10 Fehrman Knives put up an explination on their community blog site as to why the Blood Moon Knife will NOT be used in the next Stallone movie "The Expendables".

Seems this was a terrible mis-understanding that even the magazine "Tactical Knives" thought it was going to happen. I know I'm very disapointed, I was hoping to have a collectors item and even went out and bought two copies of Tactical Knives just for the cover!

Still haven't found out just who IS going to make… Continue

Re-Blood Moon

Posted on March 28, 2010 at 1:50pm 0 Comments

July issue of Tactical Knives has a great artical on the Blood Moon Knife and about who's going to be in the Expendables movie. I talked with someone at Fehrman Knives (when I bought the Blood Moon), I think it was Eric Fehrman, and he stated the movie was put back to a later date.
I hope its going to be good because with all the headliners, (I counted seven), movies tend to be....well not up to specs so to speak. Better grab an issue!

Blood Moon

New movie comming out in April with all star cast headed by Sylvester Stallone called The Expendables. One good thing will be (Hopefully), that we will be seeing a new knife, just like in all of Stallone's movies, and is made by Fehrman Knives. Everyone can see it at www.fehrmanknives.com. Heh might as well get a collectors item now!
