Profile Information

Profile
A gun can fail you by jamming, running out of ammunition. A good knife will not fail, only the hand wielding it can fail.
Are you a member of any knife club now?
No
Do you currently subscribe to any knife publication (offline)
Yes
How long have you collected knives?
21- 25 years
Favorite Kind of Knives
Ruana, Bark River, Marble's, EK, Randall, Harbuck, Reece,RJ Young and Old Timer are some of my favorite makers/brands. My collection consists mostly of fighting and bowie knives, with a few hunting and folding knives in the mix. If I had to choose just one kind of knife, it would be the fighting knives. They're a multi-purpose style knife not to big that they are to awkward to use for camp chores, in a pinch use to field dress/skin/butcher game and still be used as a fighter/defensive tool
About Me
Married with two children and four dogs. Living in an old two story log house that is about one hundred years old which we have renovated and continue to work on.
Interests
Hunting, fishing, knives and knife making, firearms/shooting, canoeing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, backpacking/day hiking, camping.
