How's the flipper action on the MT 5? The specs list it as 9.1 oz, is it a "good heft" or do you find it weighty?

Thanks for the information. have not heard of or tried Mantis, but this MT5 looks to have quite an interesting handle configuration. I always interested in function just wondering if you use this for any particular activity.

Even though Oregon is very liberal on people carrying fix and pocketknives, I tell the average students not to describe their tool as something for defense. Any of my students carrying a Bram Frank LLC/Gunting-CRIMPT can only say this tool is for de…

I am sure most knife enthusiast have particular things which immediately make them salivate while other knifes get added to a collection but not fondled and/or used with affection as those which have specific attributes which make them drool. For me several things in tangent attract me, which can best be seen in several folders, Emerson Commander, Bram Frank’s LLC, and Benchmade AFCK. There are many k

I had several interesting knifes out on the table which drew considerable attention. At one point one of the attendees ask for a demo of a tool/knife called the Gunting, he said "show me" what this tool can do. After using the Gunting on him to move him in escort position and then control methods I ended up with a… Continue

Welcome To iKC…… Please visit often and you cannot contribute too much to the discussions, questions, knowledge base or photos…. If you have a passion for knives you have found a home. Great folks, always willing to help regardless if you are a tactical fan, folder fan, custom fan or maker… there’s something here, especially great knives and a support network to help you hone your collection, trade your collection or broaden your collection… AND yes I have the hat on so I can be more like our beloved leader Scott!

Add a can of Ren Wax to keep them nice and purdy and I also use a little bag of Silica gel to keep the moisture out ! You sure did a good list though! One doesn't even think of all the stuff that you use and accumulate.
