I was at an auction yesterday and they sold a "Case" fixed blade stamped 440 STAINLESS. It's the second one I've seen in the last year. It had the actual Case name/logo without the XX & no…Continue

Hog asked me about the auction & he suggested I post this in the forum. In general, I was disappointed. I though most of the knives were in pretty poor condition, nothing I'd buy to resale and…Continue

I retired (medically) a couple of years ago and I go to quite a few auctions & estate sales. My main interest is old sterling but with the rapid rise in silver over the last year, I'm looking…Continue

Thanks for the Capt. Jack link...
Larry that's a beautiful knife. Sorry we couldn't get somebody to meet up with you. I emailed that one guy John Swatsell who move from Houston to Denver but I read on FB that he had maybe 10 inches of snow? I don't know if I had that right or not but anyway he's a nice guy and we'll hook up with him eventually.
Anyway glad you went and could report on the results in fact now that I think of it would you post the results on your Forum post. We'll leave it for a few then close the discussion. Thank you Larry!
