Knife users find all kinds of ways to carry their knives. Belt sheaths, loose in the pocket, knives with clips to hold the knife in or outside of the pocket, shoulder rigs, well the list goes on and on. Our forefathers, of yesteryear, wore neck knives. The knife sheath was held in place by a lanyard or some sort of necklace. I recently saw a survival expert on TV wareing one for his Bushcraft knife. I was wondering how many knives the majority of collectors on IKC, have purchased this year. Starting with Jan. 1, 2013. I have bought 4 and thats a little more than I usually buy, by this time of year. Oh, by the way, I just ordered another one. Well my birthdays coming up. LOL

I collect Vintage Knives and I'm sure alot of our members do too. It's fun collecting knives from the yester years. Some we have heard how well they were made and their performance in the feild was hard to beat. The old time construction and the amount of labor put into each one is hard to match in the knife world today. Have you ever wondered where the majority of knife collectors are concentraded in? We have collectors in high end fixed blades, high end folders, there's collectors in production fixed blades and folders. There collectors in custom fixed blades and folders with a bit lower price point. I have dicovered theres alot that collect military knives also tactical blades of all sorts of designs.
