WHAT IS A FAVORITE HANDLE MATERIAL FOR YOU.....

Posted on April 26, 2012 at 22:30 18 Comments

FOR ME I KNOW WHAT I WANT IN A HANDLE MATERIAL SOMETHING WITH A GOOD GRIP.  SO I GUESS FOR ME A FAVORITE WOULD BE G-10 HANDLES, SO THERE IS NO SLIP OR VERY LITTLE SLIP WHEN I AM CHOPPING WOOD OR WHEN I'M CAMPING AND HUNTING.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I LOVE THE LOOK OF BEAUTIFUL WOODS. SO I GUESS YOU WOULD HAVE TO HAVE TWO FAVORITE'S ONE FOR THE USER KNIFE AND ONE FOR THE COLLECTOR KNIFE.

WHAT DO YOU GUY'S THINK? IS THERE A  FAVORITE HANDLE FOR YOU? OR DO MOST OF YOU THINK THE WAY…

KNIVES' KNIVES' AND MORE KNIVES

Posted on January 20, 2012 at 21:30 2 Comments

As for a lot of us we love collecting knives. but it seems before you know it there are so many knives they are crowding your wife's shelves in the hutch and taking up room on the shelf under the t.v, even hanging on the walls. This happens to a lot of us knife collector's. Sometimes we seem overwhelmed because we like to show off our collection. We don't want them sitting in a drawers and safes and places were they can not be seen. Even when you put them in knife rolls it seems like you…

Knife Collecting... a Great Hobby

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 22:00 14 Comments

From the time I was a young boy I loved looking and watching my dad buying and collecting knives. When he gave me my first knife I was in love . I starting going to places to buy knives. Some days I would go to the hardware store and just gaze thru the glass case thinking of witch one I wanted to get next. Then when I started working I would pull my knife out to cut something and people would ask me were I got that.and I would tell them. It always gave us something to talk about.

Where is the Best Place to get a Knife Deal

Posted on October 13, 2011 at 19:30 16 Comments

So many places to get a deal on a knife. You have the internet so of course you can go to eBay or you can go to your local walmart or hardware dealer. You can even get deals on knives at the flea market. You can even get deals from knife shows on t.v.or even better yet you can get a custom knife made for you the way you want it. Right here on iKC where some of the best knife makers in the world. I like custom knifes and the factory ones. When I buy I like to put in my hand, see what they feel… Continue

Hi Stephen, I looked at the middle pin on my knife and it appears to be same material as the other.I also checked a few other wood handle archangels and they had three pins as well, also the rare stag archangel has three pins, so I would say they are made that way. Its does grow on you its one of those knives that you keep coming back to and pretty soon you really like it alot. Thanks for looking Stephen,I'll talk with you later,Carl.
