2010 NKCA CUSTOM KNIFE AUCTION!

On January 1st, we will kick off our huge 2010 CUSTOM KNIFE AUCTION. We are cordially inviting all custom knifemakers to participate in this event, scheduled to take place in the fall of next year.

We are asking all knifemakers to donate a custom knife to the National Knife Collectors Assn and in return each knifemaker will receive an advertising package worth thousands of dollars. Each participant is being offered the following:

1) Knifemaker "profile" to run on our website for six months; www.NKCAknife.org
2) Free display ad to run on our site for one year
3) Each knife will be displayed with the maker's name and approximate value of his/her donated custom knife, at all upcoming NKCA Knife Shows prior to the auction
4) Name listed as an NKCA SPECIAL DONOR on our Donations Page on the website
5) A free one-year's membership in the NKCA
6) One free sale table at the NKCA Knife Show of their choice during 2010 or 2011
7) Name listed on all NKCA Custom Knife Show Auction advertising (if commitment is made prior to signage being designed and printed)
8) Special recognition in press releases sent to Blade Magazine, Knives Illustrated and Knife World.
9) Each participating knifemaker will be promoting the future of the NKCA and be honored and recognized at all NKCA shows, events and in special mailings & notices sent to both members and non-members alike.

As of this posting, we already have commitments from the following makers: Tony Bose, D' Holder, Jerry Bodner, Mike Carter, Kerry Hampton, J.W. Fleming, and Doug & Di Casteel.
