I'm always happy to help children.  It's not an expensive knife but I am happy if it works for her.  Kinda looks like one of those high priced knives with the cross on the red handle huh?  I hope she enjoys it for quite a while.  I'm trying to figure out a new contest but my brain is dead I think?

Lee, I recieved the little red multi-tool knife today and just wanted to say thanks. I had gotten my youngest grand daughter a pocket knife and a little multi tool, well she lost the multi tool, so this will help out. I'm cleaning it up and regrinding the blade a little. It's gonna work just fine. Thanks again, and I enjoy the contest.

Guys I am sorry but I said there were five knives to choose from and qonly posted 4 so I will make up for that now.

We had five contestants including our winner. Four of you are eligible for Door Prizes, in descending order of how many times you entered the contest. The one tie is broken based on who entered the contest first.

We have five Door Prizes left to choose from.

1.) a paper set of instructions on how to play Mumbly Peg! This paper may or may not be original to the 1950s, but it does have a seperation where it has been folded in half so many times over the years. I played Mumbly Peg enough as a kid that I stuck a few feet pretty good including my own...ouch!

I will try to get a photo that I can provide to you but this paper is about 5 inches by 11.55 inches and gives you all of the instructions o n how to play Mumbly Peg without putting you or your friends into the hospital.

Can you imagine selling knives today and including a copy of the instructions for this "Knife Game"?  How much in fines would we have to pay?  And how many lawsuits would we face???

2.) A stainless advertising knife, advertising the Lehigh Safety Shoe Company. I shoulda had those when I was playing Mumbly Peg. The handle is engraved with the Lehigh info and the company is still operating. It has a nice chain to swing it from your....whatever.

3.) a European lockback knife with a gold/brass colored bird in flight on the handles. No makers mark on this, but the tang is inscribed Stainless over Taiwan.

4.)  a multi-blade tool from an unknown maker.  This seems to be a nice old knife.  The blades could use a cleanig, gently.

Both #3 and #4 were sold as Eastern European knives, even tho 3 has "Taiwan" on the blade

5.)  a 100 year old Robeson 2 blade knife.  A tip of the primary blade has been broken off but I love this knife.  Robeson model #42223

Wow Lee, I didn't know I had won anything. I'm sorry about that, just not checking on everything. Great contest when you still win, even though you don't win...lol  I let my grand daughter pick and she picked # 4 the Euro. Multi Tool. Thanks so much, Lee. You are  one of our best members.

Thanks Lee, it was a lot of fun, and thank you for putting up with us all. Calculating all those percentages everyday for everybody took some work, as well as putting up your own prizes. That's pretty special.
