Ok so seriously, I really think I am going Knife nuts! Spent the better part of the day making a reference binder which has pictures, info, price of all my knives. Next I want to number code them. So I can reference, what is in what box. So I do not have to go through all the boxes and I can locate them quicker! I am a freak

Comment by Ron"TUNA"Dumeah on January 18, 2012 at 17:00 Well Billy, I am about four knives behind on every knife set I would like to collect. Just when I think this is the set I will finish, another one will grab me by the ear. I guess you are right Kent a man just can't have too many knives. Mind you the space I am keeping them in is getting smaller everyday. I am keeping them in the wife's china cabinet, she said it was a great place to store things that we do not want to get damaged. With that said I removed her dishes and put my knives in there. I hope she does not go looking for something soon.
Comment by KENT GABLE on January 17, 2012 at 22:47 No Billy, thats fer sure. I promised myself that ths custom handmade knife I bought would be the last for a long, long while until I saw that EKA Nordic W-ll. I intend on wearing the custom caping knife on my left side for small food & campsite chores and wear my Randall Model 5 on the right. It has enough heft to serve me for larger camp chores. Of course, I always carry my Buck Stockman for general use here in town & working on things around the house.
Now if I'm up north, say from Georgia to Canada, a man's gotta have a good axe and my Granfors Bruks Small Forest axe solves that but here in north Florida down to the tropics, nothing beats my Ontario Knife Co. 18" sawback machete for whacking through the jungle.
This frees me up for collecting- Buck, Case, Canal Street, Northfield, German Bokers & Hoffritz to name a few-both in fixed blade, pocket knives, lock backs, a man just can't have too many knives just like fish'n equipment. Naw, there's nothing wrong with me!
Comment by Billy Oneale on January 17, 2012 at 21:41 I promise you one thing, YOU WILL NEVER GET CAUGHT UP! I keep trying and getting further behind on mine.

Comment by KENT GABLE on January 17, 2012 at 17:25 Nonsense Ron. Apparently there are lots of us knife "freaks" out there. I thought I was cured of my "illness" but this last year it has taken me over with a vengeance. It's knid of like malaria and there is no known cure so you are just going to have to learn to live with it and accept it.
