Arni's book is a very good resource. I use it as well as information compiled by Robert Schmeling in the mid 1990's who was one of the founders of the Marbles Plus Club. I quit the club years ago since most of their activities are in Gladstone, a far piece from where I live in Carmel Valley, CA.

I have collected Marbles as well as Western Boulder and other early 20C hunting knives for over 25 years. I am self employed, so when times get tough, like now, I sell off thr lesser knives. But, I always try to keep the crown jewels. I have a MSA Special in Mint condition. I saw a lesser one sell on ebay last year for over 6K. I have a binder on Marbles data over 3 inches thick which contains much mor info than Arni's Encyclopedia. I am waiting for good times to return before I start collecting again.
