Just got a curio to display my knife collection. I bought a boat load of the small clear acrylic knife stands, does anyone have any suggestions for other inexpensive stands to display my knives, particularly some of the larger ones. I would also like to display a few on some type of vertical rack to maximize space. Any ideas?

Comment by Rick Archer on March 2, 2013 at 21:24 I bought 50 of the small stands on Ebay for about $21.00. I thought that would be plenty, guess I should have counted, I was 43 short. Sure didn't think I had that many knives. Actually 50 was about right for my Case knives, but I had a lot of other miscellaneous knives that I am going to display also. I thought the small stands would only work for my peanut, tiny toothpick and butterbeans, but they worked just fine with my trappers, and canoe, even an elephant toe. I would like to mix it up though with some other types of stands, I'd like to use some natural materials also for display, still looking for ideas!
I believe you could get them personalized too, like Rick's Knives or something. I agree maybe buy them bit by bit, I will say though, it just might make an amazing display in that cabinet.
Comment by Rick Archer on February 28, 2013 at 22:19 Steve, that Little Giant looks perfect but I wish the price was a little lower, I need about two or three dozen of them, that adds up quick! I may have to just limit my order.
Just a suggestion Rick, he offers a variety of ways to display the collection, including different heights and things: http://www.littlegiantknifestands.com/
Here ia another members video where he uses curio's I believe: http://www.iknifecollector.com/video/video/listForContributor?scree...
