The online community of knife collectors
I'll never forget my first Knife Show. I didn't know a soul there, only knew I liked knives and the hobby of collecting them.
After living in the iKC Community, I've learned most members have yet to attend one- for whatever reasons, but we who attend shows know if these members went they'd experience even more fun with our hobby, plus they'd meet folks as nice as we have living here.
Here's what I'd like to ask you who attend, host or promote shows- please add them to the iKC Event Calendar.
It's easy. Simply click "Add New Event" and enter the info and select the dates from the calendar matching the dates of the show or event.
Almost every week- somewhere across the Country- there is a knife show, hammer-in or even a gun & knife show, so please let's help inform our members here by posting them in our community calendar.
Thanks for your help and support.
Scott
PS: If you only attend one show a year- make it the Blade Show in Atlanta, GA. It will blow your mind! :)

I newer have bin on knife shows, we don't have nothing like this. Unfortunately!
Last weekend in Riga was big sport and traveling and in the same time bike and boat show, where was many interesting things. Everything for fishing, traveling, sport and just for good mood. I was there because I was hoping that there will be some knife sellers, and maybe they will offer knives for some special lower prices. Unfortunately, but in two huge showrooms I found only one knife seller form Russia. He was offering all (I think all) newest Leatherman models from the smallest till largest multitools. Unfortunately his prices were much higher than in military stores. Nobody (I mean knife sellers) goes to Latvian fishing, sport, and hunting shows and offers they knives!
From 14 - 17 April will be new show: wood crafting, gardening, hunting and many more. I hope that there will be some knife sellers.
Today I think about traveling & collecting knives from knife show. I think go to some other countries, where will be some knife shows (UK, Germany… some other EU countries) and buy there knives which I want to! The major problem: I don’t know how to bring new collection to home by plane! Do I need a special license, do I need a special bag / knife roll
for knives or I just can bring them in simple suitcase with my other stuff? Do I need to warn airport employee / security that I will go buy plane and I will have a bag with knives?!?!?!?!
What is your experience? How do you travelling with knives by plane?
Ivars.
