Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was thinking how tough it would  be to give up the use of a knife or reading about them, for even one day, I got the shakes just thinking about it. Maybe if I develop a 10 step program, I will be able to bring my addiction under control. I need those who are not suffering too bad ( yet ) to make suggestions as to what those 10 steps might be.

Disclaimer:

I take no responsibility for what may occur to others who choose to follow  the suggestions for a KAA program. And, I do not guarantee that I will do anything to cure myself.

Okay, I'll admit it -- I have a problem.  I'm in recovery for it.  No, it's not knives, it's TV.  I had ZERO time between starting to read Kevin D's comment below & tying it into the Beverly Hillbillies theme song.

Fortunately, I have the internet, where I can avoid the temptation of watching old episodes of One Day At A Time (that's right, the show, not the 12-step slogan) on YouTube by instead shopping for new knives.  Whew!

And it's not costing me a dime.  Because knives cost way more than that.  I'm, like, hemorrhaging money, Scoob!  (Say it like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, makes more sense that way.)  Jinkies!

Should I just relent & subscribe to Hulu?  Netflix?  Disney Plus?  Paramount Plus?  I just gave up my DirecTV & I'm jonesin', man!

Continuing Craig's little tune...

♫ Let me tell you a story about a man named Craig,

He kept buying knives. Couldn't keep his family fed.

Then one day as he was taking his kids to school,

When beside the road he glimpsed a shiny multi-tool.

With the squawk of tires and a cloud of dust,

he stopped, jumped out, and quickly picked it up.

Shoved it in his pocket, and he was heard to proclaim,

"just to be sure that the tool doesn't rust".

But I did not buy a single knife last week.

I got two!

I like to think I'm just a collector but I would not be telling the truth. Addicted yes, have I put off paying bills so I could get that knife I just had to have.... Yes... I do try to curb this addiction but there are times it just becomes unbearable when I find that gotta have it knife.

Addicted.... Yes....  Collector.... Yes.... hoarder.... Yes/No   not sure. not that it makes any difference... I love my addiction.

Hardee-har-har!!! I have a sure fire cure for this, only if you've been a long time collector. Selling your knives. Yes selling 'em. OMG! I paid peanuts for them and now I'm getting mucho for them. I started poking around with knives in the 1980s when people looked at me funny. (Why do you need so many knives? What are you going to do with them?)
