Hey Amigo! Yeah...the RTAK is a crazy blade. Tough...super tough! Hard to not be impressed by it. By the way...my OKC RD-9 is equally impressive. What a serious bush blade! If you haven't checked that knife out, you should....

sorry it took so long for a reply. I love the Currahee, it's tough, sharp and it's an all around great design in my opinion but I'm no expert, actually I just started collecting knives. I did check Microtech's homepage for a kydex sheath but didn't find any, looks like I'm going to have to suck it up and just mail it off to a custom sheath maker.

hey Jeff i jsut say your comment on cKc hicher group about the wood. i have found some good hardwood, its laying on the side of the road down here! i got some walnut, chestnut, and red oak! i went to Smokey Mountain Knife Works and got some blades and some bone material. i recieved some deer bone that i made into a handle. having fun!! check out my page for latest pics!!
