More than just forums, discussion groups, and upcoming events. A place to form friendships or share in ones knife interest. It's a like a 24/7 knife shop where you can watch videos, look a pictures of a a knife or knives you maybe interested in.
A good resource to learn about knives and form networks regarding aquiring a certain blade. Did I forget to mention the custom knife-makers who are a part of this community.
