I like the Remington knives - but they are quite pricey. Even the year knives can get expensive. But they are fun to collect and I really enjoy the ones I have.

Show some pics of your Remingtons. Does anyone have the complete set of Year Knives?

Here is a Remington 1998 Year Knife "Hunter, Trader, Trapper" R293

The boy was excited with the uniform because he had always gotten a used one. It was his first new uniform. I hope if it was ole Al's knife, he didn't hurt anyone with it. Oh yea, the turtle was great eating. Believe it or not, it's my favorite, meat.

Great story Robert and a great pic to. Thanks for sharing it. That was nice of you to buy that uniform, everyone was happy. I would like to find a bag of knives like that. Try hard and listen to that old knife, maybe, just maybe, it was old Al Capones own knife. LOL.

Here is the Remington year Knife 2000 "Navigator" R1630

They make only one pattern Bullet Knife each year? That's why it's the knife of the year?

Robert, yes that's right. I now have the set from 1988-2000. Wish I could afford the rest - its the early ones that are so pricey now. They make one a year starting in 1982.

I thought about, collecting more bullet knives but I just love so many other brands and patterns. One day they'll add up, where the collection has some pattern to it...lol

I will post some pics tomorrow. I have multiples of every one from 1982 to 2005. I am fixing to sell a LOT of them if anyone is looking, and also have several hundred Remington posters and other knives they made, all new in box. 1 of the 1982's has a cracked handle, and it's the 2nd one to do that without being used. If my 6 year old will let me, I will take some pictures of them and some Case knives.

Ray, Look forward to those pics.

That's an ispiring collection Ken.

What year is the green bone?

Michael, if you are talking about the Cattle Knife, I am not sure but it is quite old. A nice old knife.

John, that was a good buy. And a nice knife.

Lucky Dog.....Congrats.
