I won't be attending this NRA show but I did attend the one in Louisville a few years ago. President Bush was one of the speakers.

To get into the room where he was going to speak, you had to go through metal detectors. We were told if we had a pocket knife to turn it in at a booth that was set up and we could get it back when we came out. It you tried to go into the room with it, the Secret Service would confiscate it and you would not get it back.
