Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This past Saturday, my daughter-in-law's sister's husband, Josh, was cleaning their church.  A fellow walked into the church and asked Josh for money.  Josh told him he had nothing to give him.  He said he wasn't the pastor, he was just cleaning the church.  At that point the guy pulled a knife and said "That's a nice cell phone you have there."  As Josh was pulling his gun that he always carries, he told the fellow, "You are about to make a bad mistake."  The fellow then turned and ran out the door.  He jumped into a car with someone else and sped away.

Who knows what the outcome would have been if Josh wasn't armed?  That sort of thing is why I always go armed also.  You never know what is going to happen or where.

The scariest part is that Josh's wife would normally have been there by herself doing the cleaning.  But Josh was doing it for her because she didn't feel well.  What would have happened if she had been there?

Glad to hear Josh was there instead of his wife! Who knows what the outcome would have been. This should be a wakeup call to all that where ever you are you need to be vigilant and be prepared. We all live in a different society today. A big thumbs up to Josh!!!

Charles I cant even imagine what would have happened had she been there alone.  Josh will be attending the cleaning with her for a little while I would assume.

Its not about harming someone.  Our right is there to protect us from someone

Sounds like God was watching out for Josh and his wife. Sad that we have to carry guns into churches but that is the day we live in.
