Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I had a the nicest pleasure that a knife dealer/collector could have...

I had a customer call, leave a message  which I called back and he

aggreed to meet me at the store. We are normally closed on Saturdays

but I opened for this young man. He met me holding a Eickhorn soligen made tactical folder, with a carbide glass breaker, seat belt cutter and a black coated combo blade , G10 black scales, awesome knife!

He approached me holding this out saying I brought this gift for you Mr Ray

Iam honored that you would open up for me and let me see your knives.

( iam honored to have him as a friend and a customer) We started out looking at Queen Cutlery, both of us excited . Then moved to Northfield, and then back to Schatt & Morgan... when the dust settled he owned 13 new knives and I had a new customer and friend. I told him you will love iKC and showed him how to find us , I hope he makes it here.. his name is Trent Bostick. I in turn gifted him a GEC knife and we talked for hours about Knife history and everything in  between. So today was a day money couldnt buy and doesnt happen to often... the excitement and wonder of new knives filled the room. Thanks Trent !

That is a fantastic story, Terry.  Sounds like it couldn't happen to two nicer guys.

That is a great day for sure. Glad that you were able to oblige the young man and that it turned out the way it did. I am also looking forward to meeting Trent here on iKC.
